Hot Water That Works — And Rebates That Actually Add Up.
Whether your tank finally gave out or you’re going all-electric with a heat pump water heater, we spec, size, and install the right unit for your home — and walk you through every rebate you qualify for.
Three kinds of water heater. One team to install them right.
Every Sasquatch water heater install starts the same way — a Comfort Specialist walks your home, checks your existing setup, and gives you a fixed-price quote good for 30 days. No pressure. No upsells to the biggest unit on the truck.
Heat pump water heaters
Up to 4x more efficient than traditional electric tanks and eligible for the biggest BC rebates — up to $1,000 through the Home Renovation Rebate, plus up to $3,500 more through the Energy Savings Program if your household qualifies.
Tankless (on-demand)
Endless hot water, roughly half the footprint of a tank, and 20-year lifespans when installed right. Best for large households, additions, or homes retrofitting for a rental suite.
Traditional gas & electric tanks
When a straight replacement makes sense — same footprint, same fuel, faster job. We stock quality Rheem and Bradford White tanks with strong warranties.
When to call us about your water heater
- You’re getting cold showers — pilot’s out, element’s dead, or the tank is losing capacity to sediment.
- The tank is leaking — even a slow drip means the tank body has failed and it’s replacement time, not repair.
- Rusty or discoloured water — the anode rod is spent and the interior lining may be corroding.
- Your BC Hydro bill is climbing — old resistive-element tanks are the most-expensive electrical load in most homes.
- You want to go all-electric — pair a heat pump water heater with your heat pump install and we’ll bundle both under one rebate check.
- You’re planning a reno or addition — right time to right-size (or move) your hot water setup.
Fixed pricing. No hourly surprises.
You’ll get a flat-rate quote before any wrench turns. Standard tank swaps, tankless conversions, and heat pump water heater installs are all quoted up-front with the unit, install labour, permit, disposal, and any code-required upgrades built in. If we hit something unexpected inside the wall, we stop, show you, and re-quote before we keep going.
