An annual maintenance visit keeps it clean, checks that it's working the way it should, and catches small problems before they turn into repairs. What happens during a maintenance visit?
Clean
Your technician cleans the unit and clears debris. Filters are cleaned or checked, and the blower is cleaned and inspected.
Test
Key parts and safety controls are tested, and the system is checked against the manufacturer's specifications.
Inspect
Wiring, connections and the control box are inspected. Venting and ductwork are checked.
Measure
Voltage, amperage and airflow are measured, and your technician listens for anything unusual.
Job summary
Your technician's summary of the visit is included on the invoice we send you. Keep it for your warranty and home records.

How often should a heat pump be serviced?
Once a year. Most major manufacturers recommend yearly maintenance. Heat pumps especially benefit, because the same system heats and cools your home all year.
When is the best time to book maintenance?
Any time of year works. Booking before the heating or cooling season gives you time to fix anything we find before you rely on the system most.
