If you smell something burning, see water pooling around the indoor unit, hear a grinding or banging noise, or notice a refrigerant smell (sweet/chemical): yes, turn it off at the thermostat or breaker and call us. For most other issues (won't start, blowing the wrong temperature, error code on screen), leave it as-is so our tech can see what you're seeing.
Moovair, Quilt, Daikin, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Samsung, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, and most other major heat pump, furnace, and AC brands. If your unit isn't on this list, call us anyway. Our techs are factory-trained on most makes, and we'll tell you straight if it's something we can't fix.
Parts we install carry their manufacturer warranty, typically 1 to 10+ years depending on the part. For the work itself, we don't offer a blanket repair warranty (HVAC systems have too many independent components for that to be honest). What you DO get: a licensed Sasquatch tech, an honest diagnosis, a written quote, and a real human to call if something doesn't seem right after the visit. We stand behind our work. We just don't pretend that fixing one component covers the rest of the system.
Sometimes, and we'll tell you straight. If your system is 10+ years old, the repair quote is climbing toward replacement cost, or you've called us out multiple times this year, our tech will walk you through both options at the visit so you can decide with your eyes open. No pressure either way. Most of the time, a focused repair is the right call.
