Outdoor coil is very clean Fan blades very clean Fan bearings seem good Electrical connections are tight No signs of leaks (no oil at pipe connections) Indoor coil is very clean Drain tested - no issues Set system to max cooling - operating very well No audible concerns Temp difference between supply and return of 20 degrees F - very mild day out, about 65 degrees F ambient temperature Filter is a little bit dirty No concerns for this system as of right now other than a reminder to the homeowner to change the filter regularly

Customer has no concerns, says system has been running great Electrical connections are all tight Fan blades clean Fan bearing seems good No oil on pipe connections Outdoor coil is very clean Filter size is 20x20x1 Checked filter and found to be very dirty - asked customer when the last time it was changed was and she had mentioned it had never been changed Replaced filter with an extra I had in the van as well as wrote on the indoor unit the filter size and direction to put it in for her Amp draw is well within spec Temp difference across supply/return was above 30 degrees Fahrenheit Tested drain, no issues Blower wheel is clean I have no concerns for this system, seems to be operating very well

46 degree F outside today Arrived to find error code for “Low voltage supply at main or High voltage supply at main” Went through service manual flow chart and followed steps for this error code to check ensure no problems with system. Pulled power to system and restarted, system powered on with no error code. Checked voltages at main power in and was getting just under 240V (within manufacturers spec) Bumped system up to max heat and monitored operation Fan runs smoothly, no concerns Temp difference between supply and return was 45 degrees Fahrenheit on ductless head Temp difference on slim duct was about 35 degrees Fahrenheit on slim duct Amp draws well within spec No signs of low charge Filters were clean No concerns for system at this moment

Arrived to find system not reaching set temp on cooling Checked filter and found that it was very dirty Customer had mentioned they had never changed the filter Found at-least 3 grills upstairs completely closed Mentioned to customer the importance of changing filters as well as that the grills upstairs were completely shut. Service Call - No cooling from 3 of 5 units - turned on one of the inoperative units. Unit indicated that it was in a waiting pattern - turned on all 5 units to cooling. All 5 units turned on. - no error codes on outdoor unit. Checked to see if self test was completed, it was not - ran self test to ensure correct wiring for all units. Results confirmed that unit were wired correctly. - tested heads one at a time with no other heads running to see if it cools. All good

Changed function setting 30 from default (00) to sense 4C warmer than actual room temp (09). - tested unit in cooling mode. Service Call North unit not cooling - tested unit, determined low on 410a. - preformed leak check, found top 1/4” flare nut on outdoor unit leaking. Loose from factory. Tightened, released checked. Ok - recovered remaining 410a (9oz) and recharged system with factory charge (6.83 lbs). Tested, all good. South unit indoor head turns off after cooling for 5-10 minutes - tested unit in high cooling, working within spec - into in basement is usually on heat. Suspect issues described by homeowner as the two units fighting each other because they are set to different mode. Having all units in the same mode is best.

Recall for Issues 1 - unit rattling during high heat mode - tested in high heat to recreate noise - determined noise was coming from panel that covers electrical connections. Installed foamed tape in problem section - noticed unit was transferring slight vibration noise from feet to pad. installed rubber pads under units feet 2 - unit does not switch from heating mode to cooling mode, resulting in heat being pumped out despite remotes being set to cooling - ran units in heating then switched units over to cooling, issue exactly as described by homeowner. - tried running units in Auto mode, adjusting temperatures to see how it would effect unit logic. - when going from heat to cool, recommend first turning off all units, then switching over to cooling mode to ensure unit doesn’t continue to heat. If you see “AI” symbol, turn units off. - alternatively, trying using the units in Auto mode to see if temperatures level out more consistent. 3 - concerned living room unit
