Electrical install: ran 30amp 240v circuit for heat pump. Ran cable from panel, into closet, down stud space to the outside of the home. Mounted disconnect, entered cable with teck connector, installed surge protector and unit whip. Terminated all connections and installed breaker at panel. Turned back on circuit and tested voltage. On arrival, found all controllers with error code U0, high discharge pipe temperature. Connected gauges and cycled power to clear error code. Ran system in cooling. Found pressures to be on the low side. Not a hot day but still lower than anticipated. Suspected low charge. Recovered and found system only had 5.4 # of 8.6# charge. Refilled system with refrigerant that I had on hand (only 6.4#). Checked flares at heat pump and slim duct units and did not see any evidence of a leak. A technician will need to return to find leak, repair, and recharge system.

- remove cell and filters and clean inside of HRV, flush the cell with light detergent and return to clean state. Arrived for HRV cleaning . Power set up and interior of HRV vacuumed of all mosquitos. Cell thoroughly purged with penetrating foam cleanser. Concurrently, pre filters vacuumed clean of all dust and dead insects. Foam cleanser applied to interior of casing. Wiped clean. Due to the age of the HRV and the state that it is in after cleaning it, my recommendation would be to replace the current HRV with a modern HRV that also has UV light within. My main reason for this is the degradation of the blower wheels within. They are subjected to years of humid air and without proper annual maintenance they rot away. These blower wheels are past any chance of restoration. Overall the air quality inside the home and the HRv in its current state will function under less stress and better quality than it did before

Service call, issue with basement cooling mode. Basement was 14°C. Turned on basement heat warmed up till 21°C switched unit over to air conditioning and tested. Air conditioning mode working as Intended. The reason cooling mode is not turning on is because the room is colder than the point or the unit can go.

Yearly Maintenance - cleaned indoor filters. Main floor filter needs to be cleaned more frequently. Tested drains, ok. Installed antibacterial pucks. Blower wheel clean, coils clean, tightened electrical connections - outdoor unit coils clean, defrost drain holes clear, no oil viable on flares (good). Fan motor ok, tightened electrical connections. No surge installed, recommend installing surge protector on disconnect. No riser feet installed, recommend installing riser feet. - tested unit in high heat mode. 55F ODT, 5.1 amps, 98.8F Vapour Line, 86.4F Liquid Line, 70F RA, 88F SA. Returned units to previous set points

Arrived for annual maintenance on customers Daiken multi zone system . One slim duct in the attic and two wall heads in the basement. System tested in both modes today. Return filter checked on arrival to reveal highly impacted with dirt. Replaced with new filter. Advised customer to change the filter at minimum twice to three times as often per year to maintain system efficiency in the seasons when the cooling or heating is needed most. Check new filter in one month to set a schedule for replacement. 18x30x1 is the filter size System response to controller commands correct. Fans set to auto . Outdoor unit remains level on bracketing. No oil evident at flares. No audible concerns for compressor or fan motor. Voltage supply correct to all units including main disconnect. Surge protector light in the green . Temperature rise and fall in both modes within spec. Indoor units are clean. Filters washed on arrival. Arrived on site, met with Ryan. He showed me the dinner and explained how it stopped working. We determined that the most likely cause was that the dimmer is broken/malfunctioning. Ryan opted for installing a new dimmer. Removed old dimmer and installed new one, turned power back on and tested. Everything working as intended.

Arrived for annual maintenance for new customer. We are utilizing the annual maintenance today to diagnose the 3+ year old KEEPRITE mini split floor console and single wall head. System tested both tested in both modes today. System response in heating mode is overshooting the set point . Pressures at the outdoor unit are low but are providing heat to the home. Linesets audibly gurgling liquid within crawlspace thru thr insulation. One of the two linesets displaying lower than normal pressures and icing up in Cooling mode at outdoor unit Both indoor unit lineset connections are accessible behind fortress. Checked for oil and no signs present. Compressor audibly stressed when heavy load put on system. Temps backed off to take strain off compressor. Adequate supply temps coming from units however reduced efficiency is present while monitoring operation.
